A nicely upgraded Berkeley came on the market today at a very aggressive price, $389,900. As a Berkeley owner myself, this is not good news however we in Paynter's Mill have to face up to the fact that we are not immune to what's happening in the housing market today. Prices have dropped 20 to 30% since the peak in 2005 - 2006 and since we all bought around that time, we're feeling the pain. The average purchase price for a Berkeley when we bought was around $450K and some paid as much as $500K, so do the math. This home is at 16555 John Rowland Trail, good luck.
